Where This Is Going: Goals & Timeline
This isn’t a spray-and-pray process. I’m focused on acquiring one great business—nothing more, nothing less.
The goal is to close a deal this calendar year. That timeline keeps the pressure real, but it’s not arbitrary—it’s grounded in what I know is possible with the right deal and the right partners. It gives me time to build authentic relationships, dig deep into diligence, and choose a business I believe in—one I’m ready to run and grow—not just as an investor, but as the person stepping in to lead.
I’m deep into the search: reviewing CIMs, negotiating terms, building broker and owner relationships, and refining my lens with every conversation. The top of the funnel is strong, and I’ve gotten close a few times—which has only sharpened my conviction around what the right deal looks like. It won’t just check boxes. It will align with my thesis, reflect my values, and fit the kind of business I’m ready to grow for the long haul.
Once I’m under LOI, I’ll move into diligence with speed and intention—backed by a strong team across legal, finance, banking, and insurance. From there: close the deal, step in as CEO, and get to work.
This is a focused search with a clear outcome. A real company. A leadership transition. And a long-term commitment to building something meaningful.
