Our Targets & Investment Thesis

I’m not casting a wide net. I’m looking for one exceptional business that fits a clear, disciplined thesis—built around characteristics, not categories.

Size: I’m targeting companies with $1 to $5 million in EBITDA. That’s the range where businesses are large enough to support professional operations, but still small enough for a single operator to lead meaningfully.

Model: I’m focused on businesses with recurring or repeatable revenue—whether through subscriptions, service contracts, or loyal, returning customers—because predictability is what allows for long-term thinking.

Industry: I’m drawn to businesses that operate in defensible, often under-loved niches. These are companies with simple but essential value props: they solve real problems, for loyal customers, in markets that may not get much attention from institutional capital. That’s where opportunity lives.

Cultural fit matters, too. I’m looking for companies where the team is proud of what they’ve built—and where I can build trust quickly as a new owner and operator. This isn’t about flipping a business or financial engineering. It’s about stewardship, respect for the existing DNA, and thoughtful modernization over time.

And I’m not betting on hype. The upside I see comes from operational focus: improving systems, deepening customer relationships, and unlocking growth through better execution—not wild bets.

This is a focused, hands-on search. One business. One owner-operator. And the right kind of partners to help make it real.
